The association is managed by a group of thirteen voluntary council members who are all involved in managed their own catering establishments. ACE council members are restauranteurs lobbying for and on behalf other catering establishments owners like themselves and have positioned themselves as the only exclusive lobby group for restauranteurs in Malta and Gozo.
Malta Enterprise and the Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) are launching the Skills Pass Support Scheme, a new initiative to help the tourism and hospitality industry retain non-European employees.
